That's the way the plane was found by Lee Searles, Ray Chalker and John Dimmer in Feb. 1994.

Shows the plane as found before purchase. It had been stored for some time under cover on a small farm in Gig HarborWA that belonged to the daughter of the owner (Ed Nelson) who lived in Seattle and at one time had an acft. Enterprise of some sort on Boeing Field. He had owned the plane for approx 18 years and had mounted the Lycoming engine and recovered the fuselage intending to fly it some day. Never did.
